  • At 12:42 a.m., an officer responded to the 1600 block of Prospect Avenue for a report of suspicious individuals. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 44-year-old woman was placed under arrest for three Municipal Court warrants.

  • At 7:01 a.m., an officer responded to the 1400 block of 8th Avenue for a welfare check on an individual. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 41-year-old man was placed under arrest for a Municipal Court warrant.
  • At 8:53 a.m., an officer responded to the 1100 block of Washington Street for a report of a theft of a trailer and ATV. The complainant reported that sometime during the night, his 2010 black utility trailer containing a red 2000 Yamaha ATV and a grey 2013 CF-Moto UTV was stolen. The case is active.
  • At 9:40 a.m., an officer responded to the 2000 block of Prospect Avenue for a report of a theft. There is suspect information and the case is active.
  • At 10:39 a.m., an officer responded to the 1300 block of Billings Avenue for a report of a juvenile in possession of tobacco. At the conclusion of the investigation, a juvenile was cited for minor in possession of tobacco and released to a guardian.
  • At 12:24 p.m., an officer responded to the 2700 block of Colonial Drive for a report of an assault that occurred the previous day. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 13-year-old juvenile was cited for assault and released to a guardian.
  • At 2:39 p.m., an officer spoke with a complainant concerning a theft. The case is active.
  • At 2:59 p.m., an officer responded to the 1000 block of Rodney Street for a report of a suspicious male. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 51-year-old man was placed under arrest for a probation violation.

  • At 11:19 p.m., an officer was patrolling in the area of Harrison and Euclid avenues when they stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The officer determined that the vehicle had been reported stolen earlier in the night in another jurisdiction. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 48-year-old man was placed under arrest for possession of stolen property, driving while suspended, no insurance (third offense) and fictitious plates.
  • At 11:49 p.m., an officer stopped a vehicle in the area of Park Avenue and Broadway for a traffic violation. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 39-year-old woman was placed under arrest for DUI (first offense) and a stop sign violation.

Sept. 8

  • At 1 a.m., an officer was in the area of the 100 block of Last Chance Gulch when they observed an individual with an open container of alcohol. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 21-year-old woman was placed under arrest for a warrant.
  • At 1:14 a.m., an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 1900 block of Montana Avenue. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 21-year-old man was placed under arrest for DUI (first offense), aggravated DUI, speeding, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of dangerous drugs and tampering with evidence for attempting to dispose of the drug paraphernalia.
  • At 2:01 a.m., an officer stopped a vehicle in the area of Broadway and Park Avenue for a traffic violation. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 21-year-old man was placed under arrest for DUI (first offense) and a stop sign violation.
  • At 6:12 a.m., an officer responded to the 1000 block of 8th Avenue for a report of a theft. There is suspect information and the case is active.
  • At 9:13 a.m., an officer responded to the 1200 block of Butte Avenue for a report of a disturbance. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 38-year-old man was placed under arrest for partner or family member assault (fifth offense).
  • At 11:17 a.m., an officer responded to the area of South Davis Street for a report of a male trespassing in vehicles and threatening the owner of one of the vehicles. The case is active.
  • At noon, an officer responded to the 100 block of Last Chance Gulch for a report of a burglary. There is suspect information and the case is active.
  • At 12:32 p.m., an officer responded to the 400 block of Lola Street for a report of a burglary. The case is active.
  • At 4:07 p.m., an officer responded to the 2200 block of 8th Avenue for a family disturbance. The officer met with all parties involved and the case is inactive.
  • At 10:05 p.m., an officer responded to the area of Neill and Fuller avenues for a report of a disturbance. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 26-year-old woman was placed under arrest for partner or family member assault (first offense).
  • At 10:27 p.m., an officer responded to the 900 block of Lyndale Avenue for a report of a theft. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 36-year-old man was cited for theft, trespass to a motor vehicle and obstructing a peace officer for running from officers.

On Saturday, officers responded to 87 calls for service which included 11 suspicious circumstances, seven trespass, five thefts and five domestic/family disturbance calls.

As of Sunday morning, the county jail held 110 inmates (95 for felonies and 15 for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 134 inmates at various detention facilities. Pretrial Services is currently working with 156 clients.
