Prosecutors say a 33-year-old woman stalked a coworker and burglarized the man's Helena home, stealing a gas can.

Lindsey Ann Agre was arrested Tuesday afternoon after sheriff's deputies saw her drive past the alleged crime scene on Hahn Road. Agre faces a felony charge of burglary and misdemeanor counts of stalking and theft.

At Agre's initial appearance in Lewis and Clark County Justice Court Wednesday, the judge ordered her to remain jailed in lieu of $10,000 bond and comply with a mental health evaluation.

Court documents allege Agreentered the home's garage and was seen by the victim's children in the driveway. The victim told investigators Agre, a coworker, "has developed an attachment" to him.

"The victim stated last time the defendant was arrested she called him 16 times and had bail bond companies calling him as well," the documents say.

Court documents note the victim said he found his teenage daughter "in the fetal position crying" and she's afraid to stay home alone due to Agre's actions.

Agre told deputies she went to the house to look for the alleged victim "who was one of her best friends" and that he had asked her to check on his children, who were at the home at the time.
