A Helena man is accused of burglarizing two storage sheds in the middle of the night.
Andrew Justin Witham, 26, is charged with two counts of felony burglary, one count of theft, and one count of driving with a suspended or revoked license.
Lewis and Clark County Sheriff's Office deputies arrived on the scene of a reported burglary early Saturday morning. Deputies found a broken lock and bolt cutters outside of the storage sheds.
Court documents state the owner of the sheds had followed Witham as he fled from the scene in a vehicle, while another person fled on foot.
Deputies eventually found the vehicle and Witham, placing him under arrest for multiple Missoula arrest warrants, according to court documents.
Deputies also found materials that likely came from storage sheds in Witham’s vehicle, according to court documents. Witham’s boot tread matched footprints found at the storage sheds, the documents note.
