A Helena man was arrested after being found in possession of drugs in a store bathroom.
Austin Allen Millard, 21, is charged with possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing a peace officer.
Officers were called to a store to check on a male who had been in a bathroom stall for an extended period of time. When they arrived, they found Millard in the stall where he allegedly said he was trying to warm up as he was currently transient. He also told officers his name was “Austin Allen” multiple times, according to court documents.
Millard had previously called a friend to come and pick him up. A police officer made contact with the person, who told the officer that “Austin Allen’s” last name was Millard, according to court documents.
Officers then searched Millard, and he told them he had a smoking pipe, according to court documents.
Millard was allegedly smoking meth in the bathroom while waiting for his friend to pick him up.
Millard later told officers he had a small baggie containing a white substance in his backpack, and it later tested presumptive positive for meth.
