On May 21, 2016, Gary Thomas Cooper (Helena) and Christa Louise Jung (Andover, Minnesota) were married in St. Thomas, USVI. Their marriage was blessed that morning in the Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral chapel. They were married that afternoon in the Frenchman’s Reef and Morning Star Beach Resort wedding gazebo, and the reception was held at Havana Blue.

Gary is a graduate of Capital High School and Carroll College. Christa is a graduate of Coon Rapids High School (Coon Rapids, Minnesota) and Michigan Tech University (Houghton, Michigan). They met at the University of Mary (Bismarck, North Dakota) while working on their master’s degrees and coaching (football and volleyball). They later moved to Bozeman and then to Big Rapids, Michigan.
Following their wedding they enjoyed a “mini-moon” in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Residing in Big Rapids, Gary is a pediatric occupational therapist at Family Tree Therapies in Grand Rapids, and Christa is a third year assistant women’s volleyball coach at Ferris State University in Big Rapids.
