Vonadas celebrate 60th
Ray and Ella (Vulk) Vonada were married in Helena on Dec. 6, 1958. They have spent many years following their children and grandchildren in sports and school events.
They enjoyed years of camping, motorcycle riding, 4-wheeling and hunting with friends and family. Ella has been a bookkeeper for many local businesses. She was known for her sewing skills. She sewed her daughter’s wedding and bridesmaids dresses as well as numerous cheerleader outfits for local high schools. She enjoys doing puzzles, knitting and crafts projects. She likes to sell her wares at local craft fairs.
Ray worked for Anderson Motors and also had his own motorcycle shop prior to becoming a Helena police officer. He has many stories from his “cop days.” He operated Ray's Auto Reconditioning for numerous years and was a deputy coroner for Lewis and Clark County.
They have two daughters, Theresa (Ken) Carpenter and Colette Summers. They have four grandchildren, Riley, Kailey, Katelyn and Braden.
Congratulations Mom and Dad on your 60th wedding anniversary. We wish you more blessed years to come.
