We made it through the holiday season – crazy how fast that week flew by. Hope you were able to do most of your shopping right here at home to keep our local businesses “in business.”
With our family here, they found so many fun things to do with their kids including a swim at The Broadwater Hot Springs & Spa, rides on the Carousel in the Great Northern, and much more.

The Helena Chamber is just going to press with our vacation and relocation guides for 2019. We increased the section on relocation considerably to help with recruiting efforts of businesses to attract skilled workers to Helena. There seems to be a lot of interest in Helena as the chamber sent out and distributed a record number of guides in 2018, running out in mid-fall (our first time we’ve run out). We will be printing more guides for 2019 to accommodate demand.
It is a great time to consider joining the Helena Chamber if you aren’t a member. We have signed up nearly 40 new members in the last quarter of 2018 alone. Give Joey Berndt a call at the Helena Chamber to find out how the chamber can help your business – 406-447-1945. Several members have offered great incentives for new members that will make joining even more beneficial to your business.
Coming up from noon- to 1:15 p.m. Jan. 17, the Helena Chamber will be holding its annual awards luncheon to honor excellence among chamber member businesses for the 2018 year. If you’d like to attend, call the chamber at 406-442-4120.
A reminder for all youth basketball teams in the area – sign up for the SWISH Tournament soon to assure your spot at Montana’s longest running youth basketball tournament. Set for March 2 3, there is bracketing for boys and girls teams from third-grade through eighth-grade. The past few years have seen 120-130 teams in this tournament. We also have great need for volunteers for the gates, score clock keepers, gym supervisors and more. Give Mike Mergenthaler a call at 406-447-1941 for more information or check it out online at www.helenachamber.com .
