Austin Egan, has joined Great West Engineering as part of the company's municipal group and will be based out of the Helena office. Egan graduated in May 2018 from Carroll College with a B.S. in civil engineering with environmental emphasis and has two-plus years of experience in surveying throughout the United States.

Cafe celebrates 10 years on the Gulch
Murry's Cafe, at 438 N. Last Chance Gulch, is celebrating their 10 year anniversary this month. Joan More and business partner Sid Godolphin opened the eatery in a 420-square-foot storefront with counter service. The business expanded into the space next door and how boasts 3,000 square feet with tables. More became the sole proprietor in 2015 when Godolphin retired.
Murry’s has received local, regional and international awards for dining excellence. More was recognized in the spring of 2017 by the governor and Interagency Committee for Change by Women with the Montana Excellence in Leadership Award.
Murry's is open Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-3 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Call 431-2886.
Care centers transition to new management
Lantis Enterprises, Inc., based out of Spearfish, South Dakota, and Welcov Healthcare, LLC., of Edina, Minnesota, have announced a transition where Lantis Enterprises, Inc., will be taking over the management of the skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies and assisted living facilities throughout Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota and Montana that Lantis Enterprises, Inc., leased to Welcov Healthcare, LLC., in 2012.
Residents can look forward to similar services as they received under the previous management.

Helena broker earns CCIM designation
Alice Santos, (CCIM), broker/owner of Keller Williams Capital Realty, has been awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation by CCIM Institute. The designation was awarded during a ceremony on April 11 at CCIM Institute's Midyear Governance Meetings in Tampa, Flordia.
Santos was among more than 150 designees honored by CCIM Institute and their local chapter members.
To earn the CCIM designation, commercial real estate professionals must complete more than 160 hours of case-study driven education covering topics such as interest-based negotiation, financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis, investment analysis, and ethics in commercial investment real estate.
Morrison-Maierle employees honored
Two Morrison-Maierle water-wastewater employees have received top honors for their work from the Montana Section of the American Water Works Association and the Montana Water Environment Association.
Jeff Ashley, PE, the firm's water-wastewater market group office leader in Helena is Montana’s recipient of the American Water Works Association's George Warren Fuller Award.
Steve Ruhd received the MSAWWA-MWEA Lifetime Achievement Award. Ruhd is also a former George Warren Fuller Award recipient.
The awards are presented annually in each state to selected members for their distinguished service to the water supply field. George Warren Fuller (1868–1934), an international expert in civil engineering, was responsible for innovations in water and wastewater treatment.
Ashley has 19 year’s experience in planning and design of municipal water treatment and municipal and industrial wastewater treatment facilities has brought services to small, medium, and large communities throughout Montana.
With 40 years of experience, Ruhd was honored for his work as a water/wastewater operator and resident project representatives in Montana.
