Gavin Cline scored three times in the second period to lead the Helena Bighorns past the Gillette Wild 7-1 Saturday night at the Helena Ice Arena.

Ben Kottmeier scored twice for Helena and Hayden Seitz and Luc Cross had a goal each as the Bighorns dominated, outshooting the Wild 54-23 for the game.

Cody Brewer made 22 saves to get the win for Helena. The Bighorns chased Wild netminder early in the second period Aaron LaChance after he allowed four goals on 21 shots. Rasmus Pilely came on in relief and saved 30 of 33 shots against over the remainder of the game.

Hayden had three assists in addition to his goal, and Valary Dietz recorded two assists for Helena.

The Bighorns play two home games next weekend. Helena hosts the Great Falls Americans Friday night and the Missoula Junior Bruins Saturday. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. both nights.
