CHOTEAU -- Townsend placed sixth and Jefferson High finished seventh at the 31-team Choteau Wrestling Tournament on Saturday.
The Bulldogs put four grapplers on the podium, led by Kameron Rauser, who captured the 152-pound tourney championship. Rounding out Broadwater's placers were Easton Held, runner-up at 126; Sam Lane, third at 103; and Justin Denton, sixth at 205.
Nate Brunett paced the Panthers, taking second at 160. Also reaching the podium for JHS were heavyweight Nathan Rasch in fourth; Jacob Travis, fifth at 138; Nick Workman, sixth at 205; and Christian and Dominick Davis, fifth and sixth at 103.
