WHITEHALL -- District 5B's Townsend and Jefferson High both went undefeated at the 16-team Whitehall Wrestling Duals on Friday.

The Bulldog matmen went 4-0, beating Columbus 58-13, Belgrade JV 66-6, Butte JV 45-30 and Deer Lodge 72-0.

Nine Broadwater grapplers went unbeaten on the day, including Kade Edgerton (120 pounds), Easton Held (126), Ty Steele and Will Lane at 145, Kameron Rauser (152), Tyler Groh (160), Kyle Spritzer (170), Justin Large (182), Jaden Lamb (205) and Mike Schnittgen (heavyweight).

Elkhorn area rival Jefferson High did not taste defeat either on Friday, beating Three Forks 59-13, Bozeman JV 48-30 and Helena High JV (no score available). Eight Panther grapplers were 3-0 on the day, led by Cody St. Clair (120), Jacob Travis (138), Derek Nygaard (182) and Nick Workman (205) with two pins apiece. Rounding out JHS' unbeaten wrestlers in Whitehall were Emma Brown (103), Michael Mitchell (113), Nate Brunett (170) and Nathan Rasch (heavyweight).
