The Jefferson High volleyball team placed fourth at the Southern B Divisional Tournament, garnering a berth in the All-Class Tournament in Bozeman next week.

The Lady Panthers defeated Forsyth 3-1 the fourth-place match to reach State, by scores of 25-12, 21-25, 25-18, 25-14. Then in the third-place bout, they lost to Joliet in three, 25-21, 25-23, 29-27.

On the day, JHS was led by Emily McGinnis' 32 kills, and 27 digs from Hayden Henschel. Aubrey McMaster passed for 52 assists and served three aces, while Ellie Evertz had six blocks.

"Against Forsyth we were 88 of 89 serving," said coach Mike Majors, whos JHS spikers will enter State with a 16-7 record.
