BILLINGS -- All four local swim teams placed in the top-3 at the six-team meet at Rocky Mountain College on Saturday. In the boys meet, Helena High and Capital placed 1-2, and in the girls meet Capital High and Helena finished second and third, respectively, behind Billings West.

Robert Wagner led HHS' boys with two individual victories, in the 200-meter freestyle and 100 backstroke. Other Bengal winners were Jesse Mace in the 50 free, Jacob Malaski in the 100 butterfly and Christion Goetsch in the 100 free.

Helena's boys also swept the relays, garnering the 200 medley, 400 free relay and 200 free relay.

On the girls side, CHS was led by winners Cassie Williams and Kate Sheafor, in the 50 freestyle and 500 free respectively.

Helena's Emma Krattiger garnered a pair of triumphs in the 200 IM and 50 free. The Bengals won the 200 medley relay and 200 free relay, as well.
