Helena High's track and field teams both placed second at the Bozeman triangular meet on Saturday.
The Hawks won the girls meet with 109 points, followed by Helena at 61 and Great Falls High with 12.
The Lady Bengals captured three events, as Kamden Hilborn won the pole vault (11-feet-1), Taylor Huot garnered the shot put (32-9 3/4), and Haley Schmitt claimed the 400-meter run (1:04.86).
Hilborn qualified for the State meet in the vault, long jump (16-8 3/4) and 100 hurdles (16.0), placing runner-up in the latter two. Teammate Ginny Kerr also qualified, taking second in the triple jump (34-2).
On the boys side, Bozeman tallied 102.5 points, HHS scored 49.5 and Great Falls had 31.
Helena's winners were Caleb Ferguson, with a State-qualifying triple jump (44-2); Ray Trudeau in the 400 (52.52), Gabe Dalbec in the javelin (165-9) and Aidan Brus in the 300 hurdles (44.48).
The Bengal foursome of Connor Murgel, Trudeau, Luke Schmitz and Kaleb Winterburn won the 1,600 relay, in 3:35.31.
