No. 7 Southern Oregon remained the highest ranked Frontier Conference team in the latest Top 25 poll released on Monday.

The Raiders (8-0) stayed undefeated on the season, picking up a 44-19 win over Montana Western in Ashland. In the past two weeks, SOU has outscored their opponents 80-26. Southern Oregon finishes the season with road games against winless Montana State-Northern and No. 17 Montana Tech, giving the Raiders a realistic shot of going undefeated in the regular season.

Tech dropped to No. 17 from No. 11 this week after suffering an upset at the hands of the Rocky Mountain College Battlin’ Bears. Rocky went into Butte and came away with a 30-27 win behind a powerful rushing attack. The loss is Tech’s second upset of the season, as the Orediggers had previously fallen to Western in Dillon.

Rocky, by the nature of its upset, received votes this week, but did not crack the Top 25.
