HELENA -- Cierra Lamey earned the Frontier Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week award, the conference announced on Monday.

Lamey nabbed the award after her teammate, Brianna King, won it the previously three weeks.

While is the first time Lamey has garnered the award, it’s the sixth time a Bulldogs player has won this season.

Lamey, a 5-foot-10 junior guard from Wise River, Montana, helped the Bulldogs to a 2-0 record last week. Lamey and the ‘dogs defeated Montana State-Northern, 62-57, and No. 19 University of Providence, 68-55. In those contests, Lamey averaged 18.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and one steal per game.
