The Carroll College Saints men's and women's soccer teams were shut out by their Oregon Tech counterparts Friday in Klamath Falls, Oregon, with the Carroll women losing 1-0 while the men were defeated 4-0.

Kylie Cowell scored the lone goal of the game in the 21st minute to lift Oregon Tech past the Carroll women 1-0. Tech had the edge in play, outshooting the Saints 15-5 for the match, and 12-3 in the second half when Carroll was looking for the equalizer. Shots on goal were 3-2 in favor of Oregon Tech.

Devan Murfitt made two saves in goal for Carroll, while Oregon Tech goalkeeper Megan Green also made two saves for the shutout.

In the men's match, the Saints outshot Tech 24-11, including a 6-5 edge in shots on goal, but couldn't break through for a goal. Trinidad Flores had a goal and two assists to lead Oregon Tech to the win.

Gerardo Skewes made six saves in goal for Oregon Tech. Bernhardt Di Cino got the start in goal for Carroll.

The Carroll squads close out the regular season Saturday when they travel to Ashland, Oregon, to take on Southern Oregon.
