Janie Reid finished 22nd to earn her second consecutive All-American honor, and the Carroll women finished 17th overall at the 2017 NAIA Cross Country Championship at the Fort Vancouver Historic Site in Vancouver, Washington.
Reid ran a time of 18:00 on a 5K course that was much slower than last year’s blistering pace. She was 19th among scorers in the team standings.
Samantha Mundel was 46th overall with a time of 18:28 and 38th in the team standings. Brigid Bradshaw was 124 with a time of 19:15 and 99th on the team score. Teal Bullick was 194th overall and 141st on the team tally with a time of 19:48 and Kendyl Pierson was 225th overall and 162nd among the team standings with a time of 20:05.
The Saints were the top finishing Frontier conference team; Lewis-Clark State was 22nd overall.
Outside of the top five scorers, Elly Machado finished 251st with a time of 20:19 and Kaitlin Stromberg was 307th with a time of 21:17. There were 338 runners competing.
On the men’s side, Layne Ryerson finished in 178th out of 328 runners with an 8K time of 26:50.
