HELENA -- Senior Carroll College hitter Holly Morehouse received a nod as an honorable mention All-American, the Associated Volleyball Coaches of America announced on Monday.
Morehouse, of Anchorage, Alaska, gave the Saints consistency up front. She hit .232 with a team-high 299 kills. She also chipped in 70 total blocks and 13 service aces. Morehouse played in every set possible her final three years with the Saints.
"Holly was a quality player for us for four years, and this is the icing on the cake," head coach Moe Boyle said in a release. "Her job on the right side was not only offensive but defensively, she faced every team's outside hitter. She faced All-Americans, and she is a big reason why we won two championships during her time. She wasn't hurt. She wasn't sidelined. She was always on the court for us when it mattered."
Alongside the honorable mention All-American award, Morehouse garnered All-Frontier first team and All-West Region team awards.
