GREAT FALLS – The Carroll Golf teams were swept in a one-round duel against the University of Providence in blustery conditions at Meadow Lark Country Club in Great Falls.

Jaylin Kenny scored a 91 to tie for third place on the women's side to lead Carroll to a team score of 370.

Rachel Miles notched a 92, Sydnee Nowlen a 93 and Cailin Spencer a 94.

Providence's Gina Kowolchuk tallied an 81 to win the women's medalist honors by nine strokes and lead the Argos to a 362-370 win over the Saints.

On the men's side, the scoring was much closer. The Argos edged the Saints 320 to 323. Cody Babinecz scored a 70 to earn the individual title for UP.

Joseph Potkonjak and Sam Berry each notched a 78 to lead the Saints, Austin Egan shot an 81, Greg Jones an 86 and Ben Gardner an 87.

The duel was the last action of the fall for the Saints.
