The Carroll College volleyball team fell three spots to No. 19 in the latest NAIA Volleyball Top 25 Coaches' Poll, released Tuesday.
Carroll went 1-2 over the two weeks since the initial poll was released, but the losses came against No. 22 Jamestown (N.D.) and Lewis-Clark State, which entered the poll this week at No. 25. Carroll also defeated Montana Tech -- which fell out of the Top 25, after being ranked No. 22.
In only their second appearance at No. 1 in the history of the polls dating back to 2000, Midland (Neb.) once again has the top spot. The Warriors remain undefeated at 14-0 and earned 19 first-place votes.
Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) is still second, with one first-place vote, and the rest of the top five also remained the same. Westmont (Calif.) is third, Hastings (Neb.) is fourth and Viterbo (Wisc.) is fifth.
The Saints host their first conference matches of the season Friday against MSU-Northern and Saturday against the University of Great Falls. Both matches will take place at 7 p.m. at the PE Center.
