In just the second season of Carroll College softball the Saints far outpaced expectations, winning 24 games and the Cascade Conference East Division Championship. The Saints look to continue the upward trajectory in their third season, aided by the addition of 10 athletes -- including five from Montana.
"Our 2016 class is loaded with great players and even better people," coach Aaron Jackson said. "Each of them have great talent on the field and in the classroom and all have won championships at various levels of play. I believe that we were able to sign some of the top athletes from Montana and add to that a great group from around the west. This class will be looked to solidify our foundation and help us to continue to build on our success in our short time as a program. I could not be more excited to add these 10 wonderful young women to our program."
The class includes three pitchers, two utility players and five field players that will help the Saints as they continue to build on last season's success.
