Freshman Cassie Baldwin entered as a substitute and scored a goal in the 56th minute to help the 21st-ranked Carroll College women’s soccer team notch a 1-0 home victory against Trinity Lutheran on Saturday at Nelson Stadium.

The Saints improve to 10-1-3 overal with the nonconference win, and will end the season with three Frontier Conference games. Carroll hosts No. 19 Rocky Mountain at 4 p.m. Wednesday, visits Great Falls Saturday and heads to Billings for a match against Rocky next Sunday.

Midfielder Kailey Edgar provided the assist on Baldwin’s goal. Carroll outshot Trinity Lutheran 11-8, and goalkeeper Briana Carlin finished with seven saves.
