The Carroll College men's and women's golf teams concluded play at the two-day UGF Frontier Conference event at Meadow Lark Country Club in Great Falls on Tuesday, both finishing fourth.
The women's team was led by Jackie Mee, who carded a 151 to take third. Rachel Miles finished with a 169, Amanda Roberts had a 171, Katie Goins finished at 175 and Jaylin Kenny shot a 176. Playing as an unattached individual, the Saints' Kara Osterback shot a 186.
Rocky's Kyla Clancy led the Bears to the women’s title as the team finished with a 647 to edge Westminster (650). Clancy and Westminster’s Mari Hutsi each finished 74-67-141 with Clancy winning on a tiebreaker. Both rounds of 67 were Frontier event records.
For the Carroll men, Chace Daskalos was the top finisher with a 222, earning him ninth place. Conner Hausauer shot a 228, Colin Gunstream finished with a 230, Austin Egan shot 232 and Justin Galiher finished at 242. Competing as individuals, Carroll's Michael Lavin shot a 236, Anthony Wood finished at 242 and Andy Boyer carded a 251.
Lewis-Clark State tallied 874 strokes to beat RMC’s 877 for the men’s team title. L-C State’s Joseph McAulay tallied a 72-73-67-212 to edge RMC’s Daniel Thompsett (71-72-70-213) for the individual title.
