Coach Jeff Choate and Montana State will play an 11-game Division I schedule in 2018.


BOZEMAN — The Montana State football program announced its schedule for 2018.

The 2018 slate is highlighted by the return of Idaho to the Big Sky Conference — and to Bobcat Stadium on Oct. 13 — for the first time since 1995. TThe Bobcats also host  Eastern Washington on Sept. 29 and close the season with the 118th Cat-Griz game on Nov. 17 in Missoula.

MSU will play a pair of Missouri Valley teams: Western Illinois on Aug. 30 at Bobcat Stadium and at South Dakota State a week later. The Cats round out the nonconference schedule at home against Wagner on Sept. 15.

The Bobcats open conference play on Sept. 22 at Portland State. The Bobcats head south for two straight weeks for games at Weber State (Oct. 20) and Idaho State (Oct. 27) before opening November with home games against Cal Poly (Nov. 3) and Northern Colorado (Nov. 10).
