BOZEMAN — Rachel Semansky recorded 28 points and 11 rebounds for her 22nd career double-double, leading Montana State to a 69-65 win over winless Weber State on Saturday in Shroyer Gym.
The Highwood native was 10 for 12 from the floor while adding three assists and three steals to help the Bobcats end a six-game losing streak.
Ashley Brumwell finished with 11 points and six rebounds.
The Bobcats turned 15 Wildcat turnovers into 17 points in the opening half.
MSU led 62-44 with 7:41 left in the contest before Weber began to mount a comeback. WSU went on an 18-2 run over the next four minutes to make it a two-possession game with 3:01 remaining. Semansky scored twice from there to pull away, and secured the victory on a fastbreak layup with 12 seconds left.
Regina Okoye’s 16 points and four rebounds led Weber State.
