I know that Matt Rosendale is pleased that he received two endorsements recently from two other state U.S. senators. However, it has been tradition that during the primary Republican officials and those elected to a public office shy away from endorsing anyone. The GOP Party really prefers that the Republican voters decide who they think the best candidate is. That seems to have changed as now so-called powers that be try to tell the voters who they have to vote for. That is a mistake. The official filing for the Senate does not even start until January 11. Why not let the Montana voters make their own decisions? Let's have candidate forums and debates across the state and let the best candidate surface. Maybe Rosendale is not the best candidate. If he turns out to be the best one is it will show during the debates.
