Serving on the City Commission can’t be an easy job. It is thankless, often unnoticed work and isn’t exactly exciting.
But the City Commission’s decisions are important to all of us who call Helena home. City government has the most direct impact on our daily lives, and that’s why Heather O’Loughlin has my vote for City Commission.
I know that she is beyond qualified to be a City Commissioner. Heather is smart, effective, and thorough in everything she takes on. She is able to diligently research and handle important policy details, while also able to track the big picture of Helena’s future growth. At the Montana Budget & Policy Center, she is dedicated to working on public policy solutions important to low-income families in Montana, and I am grateful she will bring this background to the City Commission.
This summer and fall, she made time to hear about the issues that matter most to her community members, knocking doors after work and on the weekends.
Helena should vote for Heather O’Loughlin. We will be well served by the skills and experience she brings to the table.
