DENMARK – From the company that will drive you comes the sequel to the epic 2012 Danish public transit commercial, “The Bus.”
Presenting, “The Passenger.” He’s cool. He has a New York hairstyle, outlet sneakers (with double knots) and an oldschool windbreaker with a zipper. He’s popular at work. He likes to surprise, and all of Denmark wants to know, which bus will he ride next? The Passenger makes riding a bus look so good that a businessman torches his luxury ride in favor of Denmark’s public transit system.
The over-the-top tone and goofy humor mirrors that of the aforementioned 2012 ad. According to ad agency M2film, which produced the spot in association with Midttrafik and Falkenberg, the overall goal of the ad campaign was to figure out a way to make public transit more popular.
Can you imagine something similar in Montana? Who knows? It could end up being even more epic than this.
