Maybe higher National Park entrance fees will cut down on the hoards of people and bumper to bumper traffic in the parks. Glacier and Yellowstone aren't even enjoyable in the summer anymore.

Wow, it seems like a huge majority of IR readers who have voted on this issue are not willing to pay as much as would cost for a family of six to attend a movie in order to be able to go into one of the most treasured spots in the world. Well that would be good, since the National Parks are becoming horribly overcrowded anyway.

$70 would be such a very small part of the overall amount most people spend on vacation when you consider gas, motels, meals out, souvenirs, etc. Think of it as a "user fee" that will be used to maintain and improve some of the of the world's greatest and most unique treasurers.
