One of the sections of the Sunday paper is headed “Comics.” This indicates that the various comic strips contained in the “Comics” section will be humorous.

The lead strip “Doonesbury” by G. B. Trudeau which appeared in the May 28th, 2017, issue of the IR was anything but comical or humorous. Instead, the strip suggested that the President of the United States hired a hit man to kill the Speaker of the House.

I don’t know how to classify this so-called comic strip, but it most certainly was not funny.
