Not very often do voters get a chance to vote for a courageous, progressive leader, but voters in SD 41 will be that lucky this coming June 3rd. Christine Kaufmann is that type of leader. She has carried forward-thinking legislation for universal health care, fair taxation, and human rights, among others. Having finished out Ken Toole's term in the 2007 session, she already has experience with the budget and tax committee, as well as the natural resources and energy committee. With the challenges ahead those are two very important areas. But more importantly Christine has the courage of her convictions; she stands her ground on principle before politics.
