You know the scene. A fast food jungle gym. Small, smelly kids running everywhere with the odor of a million tiny feet forever embedded into the plastic. Plastic balls flying everywhere except for where they’re supposed to be.

Am I the only one that gets a little nauseous just thinking about it?

You know what would be much better? Make that ball pit about 20 times bigger, say, the entire ground floor of a house. And include a trampoline to boot.

One man, Roman Atwood, actually did it… without telling his spouse beforehand.

In the video, Atwood is at home while his spouse is out for the day. While she’s out shopping – and without telling her – Atwood takes delivery of several very large bags of plastic balls, which he and friends spread all over the ground floor of his house. Hilarity and good times ensue.

When the missus comes home, guess what’s waiting? A huge pile of plastic balls at the door to the garage, which spills all over as the stunned lady of the house gets a grip on what’s happening.

Roman Atwood is a well known YouTube prankster. His YouTube channel has more than 5 million subscribers and his videos have been viewed worldwide more than 100 million times. So, it’s no surprise that someone with that kind of following is able to generate more than 10 million views in just a few days.

That said, I think this video is so popular because there’s a kid inside all of us that would like to make our own massive ball pit at home rather than relying on the… ahem… smelly alternative.
