It’s time again for Cats on Mats at Gentle Healing Wellness Center! Today, Brody has decided to join this relaxing yoga session in order to get his stretches in (and hopefully find a new owner). The class fills up fast, so read about Brody below and then head on down to Gentle Healing.
Brody’s tale is a sad one, he was lovingly cared for by his dad until he passed away recently. His family wanted to keep Brody, but couldn’t, and so he came to the shelter. Although his life has been turned upside down, this handsome senior is trying to make the best of his situation.
He spends his days curled up in his cat bed napping or enjoying the company of shelter staff and volunteers. He’s mellow, sweet, and the perfect size for lap-warming. Normally a cat like Brody wouldn’t have a hard time finding a home, but his age (he’s 10 years young) causes people to turn away and choose a younger cat.
We hope you can say “age is just a number” and give this amazing feline a second chance at love – we promise you won’t regret it.
Cats on Mats is hosted by Gentle Healing Wellness Center, 513 Saddle Drive, starts at 9:30 a.m. The class is for all yoga experience levels, and a $10 donation to the Lewis & Clark Humane Society is recommended. Come relax with Brody!
