Things do indeed "go bump in the night" -- and sometimes in daylight -- throughout the 104-year-old Montana Club in Helena, and a splendid four-course dinner created by executive chef Marc Jorgensen will kick off what could be a very long night beginning at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7.

Each course will be paired with a selection from Australia's stellar Wine Men of Gotham in Australia: alligator chowder with bacon, bell pepper, potato and tomato paired with Shiraz/Grenache; Bahn Mi Slider with ground lamb, pickled carrot and cucumber with chili cilantro mayonnaise paired with Stalking Horse; beef short rib with blue cheese, polenta, shallot confit and natural jus paired with Salmagundi; and cheesecake with goat cheese, toffee apples and cider chantilly paired with Montana Ciderworks’ Small Bach “MacIntosh” cider.

At dinner's end, Alicia Lenoir, Gotham Wines' U.S. national sales manager and marketing representative for Delaware’s premier paranormal investigative team, will join with local paranormal investigators for a tour of the club's famed Rathskeller to see who they might scare up. 

This dinner is an opportunity for prospective members to join with club members to enjoy superb dining and quality programming. Cost for the dinner is $60 for prospective members and $40 for Montana Club members; service fees are not included and the club’s dress code will be in effect.
