A Helena woman is accused of assaulting a person with a vase.
April Marie LaBrec, 20, is being charged with assault with a weapon, a felony. LaBrec is also facing a misdemeanor assault charge, as well as a charge of misdemeanor criminal mischief.
A deputy was dispatched to a home in Lewis and Clark County regarding a woman, later determined to be LaBrec, “tearing apart her mother’s house,” according to court documents.
LaBrec told the deputy she had been arguing with the person and admitted to being violent with him, according to court documents. LaBrec told the deputy she had picked up and thrown a vase at the person and then hit the person, according to court documents.
LaBrec also said she had thrown a TV off a stand, according to court documents.
The alleged victim told the deputy he was sitting at the kitchen table when LaBrec threw the vase at him and missed, and then she began hitting him in the face, causing scratches and bruising.
