A Helena man was arrested Saturday and charged with attempting to meet what he thought was a man and his 12-year-old son for sex.
Mark Steven Mlekush, 48, is charged with attempted sexual intercourse without consent and attempted sexual abuse of children.
According to an affidavit filed Monday in Justice Court, a Helena police officer who is part of the Montana Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force found apparent online attempts by Mlekush to meet a father and son.
Mlekush asked investigators, acting as the online father with the son, for pictures of the boy naked, he described the sex acts he wanted to engage in and he emailed pictures of his genitals, according to the affidavit.
Investigators arranged to meet at a specific location for the sex, and arrested Mlekush.
He remained in Lewis and Clark County jail Monday afternoon.
