A missing 12-year-old boy was found shortly before noon after the Helena Police Department got a reply to an emergency phone notification message.
Police reported the boy missing shortly after 11 a.m., saying he had last been seen in the area south of Broadway Avenue. A police spokesman said the boy's guardians were trying to find him, but no foul play was suspected in his disappearance.
The HPD sent out an automatic emergency phone message to the south side of town, and a resident who got the message called the police after seeing the boy on an area street.
