The Angel Fund will soon begin its 19th school year helping k-12 children in the Helena School District.
The Angel Fund helps families who need assistance buying required school items including school clothing, shoes, backpacks and school supplies.
It also provides field trip fees, materials for classroom projects and awards Montana post-secondary scholarships to graduating seniors based on academic success and financial need at each high school in Helena.
The Angel Fund application for this school year will be available in all 16 schools in Helena beginning Monday afternoon, Aug. 25.
The parents and guardians of children who need assistance can contact the Angel Coordinator at their children's school.
More than 415 students were helped last school year, and The Angel Fund spent over $48,000 helping children in need.
