Student Advocates for Valuing the Environment is holding a sixth birthday party on Sunday, Nov. 15, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.at ExplorationWorks.
The celebration will also mark America Recycles Day.
For the past six years, S.A.V.E. has worked for environmental policies, held recycling events in Helena and worked on various conservation initiatives.
In addition to cake and other birthday refreshments and thanking volunteers for their help, the event will highlight ExplorationWorks’ “Conservation and Sustainable Choices” exhibit along with presentations on graywater, recycling in schools and a video on the plastics recycling process.

Canyon Creek School to hold chili feed
Canyon Creek School is holding its 15th Annual Chili Feed on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the school.
The event will include door prizes and a silent auction.
