Two men are accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of vacuums and watches from Shopko stores in Helena and Great Falls.

Ronald Gary Eppers, 52, and Nicholas Shane Royland, also known as Nicholas Shane Clark, 32, are being charged with robbery and theft.

Officers were given information from Shopko that showed two men stealing multiple vacuums and other items from the store without paying for them. On Feb. 10, a customer service agent confronted the two men when one pulled out a stun gun device in a threatening manner, causing the agent to retreat, according to court documents.

On Feb. 15, a detective from Great Falls told Helena police the Shopko in Great Falls had detained the two men that they suspected were involved in prior thefts, according to court documents.

Great Falls police found a stun gun on Royland, according to court documents.

The two men admitted to the robberies in Helena and Great Falls, according to court documents.

Both men are being held on $25,000 bond in Lewis and Clark County.
