Mark Anthony Sides, Samuel Ray Kelly and Anthony Wyatt Hudson, all 18 years old, were charged with multiple felonies.
Kelly was charged with aggravated kidnapping, robbery and burglary, Hudson with aggravated kidnapping, robbery and accountability to burglary, and Sides with accountability to robbery.
Officers responded to a call at 3048 Sanders St. in regards to a robbery on Jan. 15. They spoke with the victim, who said he had been assaulted by two males wearing masks and gloves, according to court documents. One suspect allegedly punched the man in the face and the others bound him with tape.
The three men demanded the codes to the safe and register, stole $727 and locked the victim in the freezer, according to court documents.
Officers found that the three men had spoken to an employee and asked who was closing the restaurant that night, court documents allege. The suspects were then identified by the employee.
A search warrant was filed for Sides, Hudson and Kelly’s residence, where investigators allege they found evidence linking them to the Subway robbery as well as another burglary that had occurred on Sanders Street.
