A 49-year-old Kalispell man is accused of driving while intoxicated with children in the car.

Charles Glenn Mitsch is being charged with criminal child endangerment.

A Montana Highway Patrol trooper stopped Mitsch on Highway 12 near Cleveland Street. Mitsch admitted he had consumed alcohol, had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath, showed impairment on sobriety tests, and blew a .127 BAC while refusing to provide a blood sample, court documents allege.

Mitsch had three passengers in the car with him, two of which were children under the age of 16, according to court documents.
