  • At 2:14 a.m. an officer took a report of a trespass to a business located in the 1800 block of 11th Avenue. Investigation into the matter led to a 15-year-old juvenile male being issued citations for MIP (alcohol) and MIP (tobacco). He was referred to Helena Municipal Court.
  • At 9:09 a.m. an officer took a report of a theft that occurred in the 800 block of S. Beattie Street.
  • At 10:23 a.m. an officer took a report of a domestic disturbance that occurred in the 1400 block of Wilder. Investigation into the disturbance led to a 57-year-old female being placed under arrest for PFMA (second offense). She was booked into the LCSO Jail.
  • At 11:08 a.m. an officer took a report of a lost cellphone. The cellphone was a Samsung Note 5 gold edition.
  • At 11:26 a.m. an officer took a report of a theft of a generator that occurred in the 700 block of Custer Avenue.
  • At 11:49 a.m. a school resource officer took a report of found drugs and drug paraphernalia in a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Valley Drive. Investigation into the matter led to a 17-year-old juvenile male being issued the following citations: MIP (alcohol), MIP (tobacco), possession of dangerous drugs with intent to distribute (marijuana), and possession of drug paraphernalia. For the MIP citations he was referred to Helena Municipal Court, and for the drug charges he was referred to Juvenile Probation.
  • At 12:14 p.m. an officer took a report of a possible theft that occurred in the 1300 block of Cedar Street. This case is active.
  • At 1:35 p.m. an officer took a report of a theft from business that occurred in the 400 block of N. Last Chance Gulch. This case is active.
  • At 1:36 p.m. an officer took a report of a criminal mischief to a vehicle that was parked in the area of N. Sanders Street and 8th Avenue.
  • At 1:48 p.m. an officer took a report of a criminal mischief in the 100 block of Valley Drive.
  • At 2:14 p.m. an officer took a report of a theft of gas from a vehicle that occurred in the 1400 block of Wilder Avenue.
  • At 2:28 p.m. an officer was dispatched to a burglary in progress at a residence in the 1200 block of Washington Street. Investigation into the burglary led to a 26-year-old being placed under arrest for burglary, possession of dangerous drugs (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • At 3:57 p.m. an officer took a report of fraud.
  • At 10:14 p.m. an officer took a report of a domestic disturbance that occurred in the 1800 block of Peosta Avenue. Investigation into the disturbance led to a 17-year-old juvenile male being issued citations for PFMA, tampering with a communication device and unlawful restraint. He was referred to Juvenile Probation.

  • At 7:27 a.m. an officer took a report of a theft from business that occurred in the 400 block of Dorothy Street. This case is active.

As of Tuesday morning, the county jail held 87 inmates (78 for felonies and nine for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 106 inmates at various detention facilities. In addition, 33 are PBT (Personal Breath Test) and 29 are SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor bracelet). Eighty-five clients are serviced by the 24/7 sobriety program. We also have six testing out of county, one is pre-trial, four are GPS (Global Positioning System bracelet) and 12 are on house arrest.
