  • At 9:57 a.m., an officer took a report of fraudulent activity involving a person forging stolen checks. Investigation into the matter led to a 25-year-old woman being placed under arrest for felony forgery and possession of stolen property. She was booked into the LCSO jail.
  • At 10:24 a.m., an officer took a report of a theft of a boat motor from the 1900 block of Winne Avenue.
  • At 10:56 a.m., an officer was dispatched to the 500 block of Logan Street for a report of a female with outstanding warrants for her arrest. The officer was able to locate the 44-year-old woman and she was placed under arrest for her two active arrest warrants out of Helena District Court. She was booked into the LCSO jail.
  • At 11:20 a.m., an officer took a report of a theft of medications that occurred in the 300 block of Lawrence Street.
  • At 1:15 p.m., an officer took a report of the theft of a motor vehicle parked in the 3100 block of Montana Avenue. The vehicle taken was described as a 1993 green Jeep Cherokee with MT license plate #5-90269A.
  • At 4:08 p.m., an officer took a report of a suspicious activity that occurred in the 10 block of Rodney Street.
  • At 5:30 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the 800 block of Camelot Court for a report of a domestic disturbance. Investigation into the matter led to a 27-year-old man being placed under arrest for PFMA (first offense). He was booked into the LCSO jail.
  • At 5:54 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the 1900 block of Camelot Court for a report of a cold assault that occurred earlier in the day. Investigation into the matter led to a 25-year-old man being placed under arrest for PFMA (first offense). He was booked into the LCSO jail.
  • At 6:57 p.m., an officer took a report of a lost wallet that occurred in the 1800 block of Custer Avenue.
  • At 10:15 p.m., an officer took a report of a theft that occurred in the 900 block of Hialeah Court.
  • At 10:35 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the 600 block of California Street for a report of a domestic disturbance. Investigation into the matter led to a 25-year-old man being placed under arrest for PFMA (first offense), obstructing and resisting arrest. He was booked into the LCSO jail.
  • At 11:28 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the 800 block of Camelot Court for a report of a domestic disturbance. Investigation into the matter led to a 54-year-old man being placed under arrest for felony PFMA (third offense). He was booked into the LCSO jail.

May 13

  • At 12:58 a.m., an officer was dispatched to a business in the 50 block of North Last Chance Gulch for a report of a male trying to use a fake ID to gain access to the business. The officer located the person and the 20-year-old man was issued citations for underage possession of alcohol and displaying a fictitious driver's license. He was referred to Helena Municipal Court.
  • At 3:10 a.m., an officer took a report of privacy in communications from the 500 block of Logan Street.

As of Sunday morning, the county jail held 102 inmates (85 for felonies and 17 for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 118 inmates at various detention facilities. In addition, 40 are PBT (Personal Breath Test) and 31 are SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor bracelet). Ninety-one clients are serviced by the 24/7 sobriety program. We also have three testing out of county, one is pre-trial, four are GPS (Global Positioning System bracelet) and 12 are on house arrest.
