A 34-year-old Helena man stopped by police was found to have 13 grams of methamphetamine, according to court documents.
Michael Dwayne Rhodes is being charged with criminal possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On Feb. 10, Rhodes was stopped in his vehicle in Helena, identified through his ID card and informed he had a warrant for his arrest, according to court documents.
When Rhodes was searched at the county jail, a corrections officer found a baggie of marijuana, a tube with methamphetamine, four baggies containing methamphetamine and two empty baggies, court documents say.
When asked where he got the drugs, Rhodes told the police officer he had found them on the ground, according to court documents.
