A 42 year-old Great Falls man is accused of his sixth DUI, a felony.
Thomas Troy Lakey is being charged with DUI, driving while license is suspended or revoked and failure to give notice of an accident by quickest means.
On April 11, deputies were called to a bar in the Helena Valley after a man, who turned out to be Lakey, pulled into a parking lot at a high rate of speed, court documents state.
Lakey showed deputies his identification card, and a search revealed his driver’s license was revoked with multiple previous DUIs, according to court documents. He admitted to drinking and had the smell of an alcoholic beverage on his breath, court documents allege.
Lakey was arrested after showing multiple signs of impairment, according to court documents.
