More charges have been filed against a Helena man arrested in late January on suspicion of stealing and repainting a car.

Ronnie Joseph Valverde, 30, is now accused of stealing money from a PayPal account, tools, a television, speakers, a pressure washer and batteries from a Lewis and Clark County home from Jan. 23-26, in addition to the 2004 Pontiac Grand Am he allegedly stole on Jan. 26. 

He is being charged with two counts of burglary, one count of felony theft and one count of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, in addition to motor vehicle theft. 

Valverde was found sleeping in the stolen vehicle on Jan. 29, according to court documents.
