A Helena man was charged with three felonies and two misdemeanors related to drugs allegedly discovered in his car.

Cory Lee Springer, 32, is facing felony counts of possession of dangerous drugs (both heroin and methamphetamine), a felony count of criminal possession of dangerous drugs with intent to distribute, and a misdemeanor count of possession of dangerous drugs (marijuana) and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.

A sheriff’s deputy was called to assist with a search of Springer’s car by a probation officer, according to court documents.

In the car, probation officers found heroin, methamphetamine, Suboxone, marijuana, two pipes and a glass water bong, the documents say.
