Korri Duane Galbrath, 32, was charged with felony assault with a weapon for an alleged assault on Bozeman Avenue on Wednesday just before 5 p.m.
Galbrath was at Unique Apparel, 1421 Helena Ave., when he saw a person looking at aroma therapy products and thought the person was trying to steal something. Galbrath asked the person to leave the store.
Galbrath got in a car and followed the person, who was walking. Witnesses say Galbrath pointed a gun at the person, and the person said Galbrath pointed the gun at his head and threatened to kill him if he returned to the store.
Unique Apparel sells clothing, adult-themed items and smoking paraphernalia. People across the nation have used some substances labeled as aromatherapy, “herbal incense” or “bath salts” as intoxicants.
Helena police seized the handgun as evidence.
